When I got pregnant for the first time, it came as a complete shock as my husband and I were not trying (but not preventing either). I didn’t put much thought into how it happened. I was just excited. Sadly, I went into preterm labor at 21 weeks and lost the baby. We were devastated. Once I recovered physically and emotionally we knew we wanted to try again. At that point in my life, I didn’t even understand how getting pregnant worked. We knew we had to have sex, but didn’t realize there were more factors that come in to play. I began my trying to conceive journey when I turned 30 and didn’t have my “rainbow” baby until I was 32 turning 33.
During that two year period of trying to get pregnant, I tried so many different products and methods that I could literally write a book! While trying to have a baby in itself can take time, it can take even longer if you don’t understand how your body works. My goal is to educate those trying to conceive in their bodies and inform you of all the products I tried to help me reach my goal. The information that I provide on this site can apply to all women, but since I began my journey in my 30’s, I have a special place for those in my same position.
Now at the age of 35 (turning 36 this month!), I find myself preparing to conceive my third child. My hope is that someone reading this can share in the journey and understand that having a baby in your mid 30’s is possible with the right knowledge and tools! My goal is to help those trying to conceive by providing a one stop shop for all your questions, needs, and concerns so please enjoy!
Baby Dust,
